Samuel R. Hendrickson, MA

Samuel R. Hendrickson, MA

Bio

Samuel comes from a diverse background with 20 years of business development expertise. In the past decade, he has worked on multiple international projects that range from tour management and artist development for a Sweden-based record label, government liaison for study abroad programs and CU Denver, and, most recently, risk analysis consultant and strategist for a private equity firm based in Northern Europe. His diverse background, with his economic and strategic focus, is a perfect complement to Dr. Annie Miller's subject and educational expertise.

It was his love of EdVenture that made Samuel cross paths with Dr. Miller. His inner ‘nomad’, as his parents call it, saw an opportunity to see a new region and signed up for a study abroad program while doing his bachelor’s degree at CU Denver. Dr. Miller was the leader of the program that moved him to refocus the direction of his master’s degree. Although his travels have put him in many great places, with many great people, his time in the Balkans with Dr. Miller became the motivating factor to devote his time to starting Connection EdVentures.
